this beat is.. really, really boring! and i know you said it was more on a serious tip, but come on man..
I've listened trough this three times now.. and here's what i think.
it sounds like you found yourself a melody, laid on a whiny instrument on the chorus that probably sounded good in your ears but sounds very cheap...!
THEN you where stuck for hours and couldn't make up something else.. and eventually added an organ and copyed the melodyline just for some variation...
i actually find myself listening to just the rimshot.. not good..
no hate, but i think you got to add something more melodic to it
