Mike Jones is back with his latest instalment of recycled monkey turd, otherwise known as a Mike Jones single.

People labelled him as a ‘one-hit wonder’ but thanks to BET that may be proven false. With non-lyrical non-original music over saturating the Rap City and 106 and Park airwaves I’m sure there will be a heavy dose of “Mr. Jones” in the coming months. Whereas songs like Saigon’s “Pain In My Life” or Talib Kweli’s “More Or Less” would be lucky to get played once in the late-night hours. But is it really BET’s fault? Not really, they don’t help, but they’re not the problem. As long as a majority of people continue to buy and request that kind of music why wouldn’t it get played? They’re the dope dealer supplying the fiends. If the people don’t get it there they’ll go somewhere else so they might as well milk it for all its worth.

In my opinion it’s been milked for all it’s worth for quite a while now. You’d figure taking a year off would allow an artist such as Mike Jones to come up with something else to talk about than women hating on him then loving him once he blew up. Apparently not. “Mr. Jones” is full of the same recycled lyrics that made the entire ’Who Is Mike Jones?’ album a snooze, in my opinion at least.

One could be optimistic and hope Jones’ album contains something more diverse than the last go-round but it’s not very likely. So hot or not? Hit or flop? Decide for yourself what “Mr. Jones” is but as mundane as it is you just know it’s not the end of the stereotypical southern crap everyone hates on them for.

nice...but in the 2nd(or 3rd) verse...he talks about the same shit that he talked in his 1st single BACK THEN.....about how bitches didnt want him and how they all on him now...

In his most recent interview with Whoo Kid, he said his first album was mostly what he *thought* people wanted to hear, so it's a lot about bragging and shit like that, he didn't talk about what he wanted to talk about. This next one he considers his "first" cause he gets to do what he wants due to financial scalability.

ok didnt hear that, hey i said it in the piece i hope he does come with something different but who knows, if he does then i can respect that i dont just hate for no reason, i hate him cuz his music sucks, so far atleast, but if he makes something good then all the better
