Yo whatttupp ya'll, its ya boy zizl187 back again for more mixtape talk. In this blog im gonna discuss the new NYCE(Infamous/G-unit) mixtape hosted by Superstar Jay-United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

As the mixtape starts u hear the familiar sounds of one Superstar Jay(formerly rookie of the year), although this tape is different from most of his other tapes, as we go along u will begin to understand. The tape starts with a dope ass track named "wartime" as NYCE sets the tone for this mixtape with a dope beat and some very good rhymes to go along with it, the next track "dont like me" ft. hot rod is definately one of the best tracks on the tape, both dudes sound very comfortable on the M. Rell produced track.......NYCE and Hot Rod both said on shake em down radio last week that the video was done for this track. Hopefully they drop that soon. They also stated that they have done many tracks together, maybe we could see a mixtape collab?? We can only hope.....

Getting back to the tape, Nyce continues with agressive rhymes in the next few tracks, including one with Mazaradi fox and Havoc named "kill kill murder", in which all three rappers put it down to the fullest. True rap fans should appreciate mixtape tracks like this one. This and "ko remix" with david banner are two of my personal favorites. "Fully upgraded", another dope track produced by M. Rell, is one that many of you that listen to hh411 radio should know well by now.

The tape continues on smoothly with superstar jay being relatively quiet for the most part, which is suprising considering we are used to hearing him say "where'd id get this from?" followed by his notorious laugh on almost every track. Even though he talks(and laughs) at the beginning of almost every track on this tape as well, the music keeps you entertained to a point where u barely notice him, plus i think Superstar Jay does alot better when its a one artist mixtape rather then a compilation of artists, that way we don't have to hear him say "lets keep it dipset" or "lets move to G-unit for a minute,hahahaha." We all know that gets annoying quick.

The track "Sungalsses" is a track that tooks samples from Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at night." All you 80's lovers should remember that one well. As track number 16 approaches u get the feelin its time for some gangsta shit and thats exactly what nyce delivers with "Ski mask pt. 2"(f. eyeslow and Serious-NBK),which i think is as good, if not better than the original ski mask off NBK Volume 2-War Over Peace. "Welcome to my hood" is also another really hot track on this mixtape, Nyce and his manager Chris both said a video was being shot for this song too. Both tracks are really hard not to bring back at least a couple times. towards the end of this mixtape there is sum bonus tracks including two with termanology, which are both dope, if you don't know about termanology's skills, u better do some reasearch and check this cat out. The tape ends with a the track "Curious" which is a really smooth and deep song that even people who don't like rap may appreciate.

Overall this is one of the best mixtapes this year in my personal opinion. Some str8 gangsta shit,a record for the streets, and all the real motherfuckers. If you feelin Nyce check out War Over Peace vol. 2 by Dj Rated R and DJ Digs, which was also a really good mixtape, you can check him out at Nycedafuture.com where u can also order his mixtapes. Nyce be doin big things, many people still sleepin on him but there is great things in his future.

Overall 8.5/10-One of the best Mixtapes of '07

damn, yeah this mixtape is dope. Nyce is the future, for real. If hot rod and nyce do a collab mixtape that be hot, havent seen anyone do that from the UNIT yet. The "Fully upgraded" track is fuckin ill, Nyce is ill with the lyrics and the aggressive content. M. Rell and Havoc shows there skill with the productions. This mixtape is a must listen, it a dope mixtape. NBK Volume 3
