There was rumors going around last week that 50 Cent's G-Unit Clothing was closing down. Because recently the senior marketing department staff was let go, as was the brand’s design team.

But according to a Rep for G-Unit, there not closing down, but reports have stated that a round of layoffs at the company could come as early as next week. According to sources they may be leaving their partner (Ecko), but the G-Unit brand is a base business of $75 million dollars annually.

50 cent's launched his G-Unit clothing brand in 2004 in partnership with Marc Ecko Enterprises, which owns 50% of the brand and in 2008 the G-Unit brand accounts for 15% of Marc Ecko Enterprises annual revenue, while sales of the G-Unit brand grew almost 30 % last year.

What you think of this? I normally don't buy G-Unit Clothing. The G-unit clothing brand to me, isn't really popular, but if I see something that ill, I'll buy it, no matter what brand it is.
