1. Straight Outta Southside 4.5/5
This track is crazy, great intro track. yayo and banks spit fire, 50 flows a bit different but is effective. Good idea not having a hook, just lets them spit. Strange they changed the instrumental between the verses, because the original one that was released had more energy. Hot track 2. Piano Man feat. buck 4/5Hot track, should be next single. Maybe a remix with 50 doing the last verse for a video. Back to basics on the hook for 50, which is a good thing, its effective. Yayo starts the verse off with his voice sounding kind of enjoyable to listen to for once, and spits a good verse. "These snake ass niggas is reptiles, til i shoot em up, fill em up with projectiles." Banks verse is great, Buck's does his best verse on the album. 3. Close To Me 4.5/5 This track is fire. The beat is fire with piano keys. Probs my favorite ladies track by the unit ever. Banks does great on da hook, really outshines anything 50 has done in the hooks department for quite some time. . Fifs verse is good, banks is great. 50 in the background being the hypeman of the song add's flavor to the track. Yayo's verse is alright, except where he starts making moaning noises, just wish he'd rap faster like he has on tracks such as Drama Setter, I run new york, come and get me. 4. Rider Pt.2 3.5/5 Hard to rate a track i've heard alot before. 50 doesnt overuse the t-pain machine, spits a good verse, buck brings heat, banks is ok, yayo is garbage. Beat is alright, bit like stunt 101. The video isnt worth a look. 5. Casualties of War 4/5 (could have been a 5 with a good hook) 50 is pretty average on the hook, his voice is too whiney on the hook/verse. It sounds fukin sik when beat goes from a fading out symphony sound after the hook, to banks coming and spitting a crazy verse on a pretty sick beat "Fuck like a rabbit, shit like a dinosaur" LMAO . Yayo's verse alright as well. Claiming he is "Focused like a digital camera", is an alright metaphor, but considering his performance throughout the CD, I doubt it nigga. 6. You So Tough 5/5 wow, awesome grimey beat. 50 makes a good hook. Banks verse is great as usual. Yayo's verse is average, his voice is annoying as usual tho. Average rhymes, "ghetto like a payphone"... Payphones arnt just in ghettos fool. 50's verse is probs his best on the album, it starts off sounding like all his other verses, but when he takes shots at T.I calling him a snitch, lyrically he steps his game up. 7. No Days Off 3.5/5 Another cool grimey beat. This track is tight, nothing special, wouldnt call it fire. 50's verse is one of his best on the album, steps his lyrical game up. His voice is more grimier, instead of it being whiney like it can get a bit on the album. I wish he'd have that grimier voice more often, especially on hooks. "Cross me, force me go head line me up, ill find where you live at you grimey fuck, Ill be outfront your raggedy ass crip on a stakeout, put a pound, 2 clips, and chinese takeout". The same rhymes seem to be on the album. In straight outta southside banks says "im a stormey night, you a rainbow", on this track 50 raps "You make it rain, i make it..." i cant understand the rest of the line, Banks verse says "These niggas been perpetrating so long, If they can make it rain, i can make it storm".. Buck is supposedly a featured artist, yet isnt on the hook, doesnt bust a verse... so where is he? i checked the CD back cover scans and he is featured there as well. Maybe its the little skit at the end where someone says grunts "ohhh.... c'mon". Im not sure what the skit is off, maybe ecstacy pressing or something. But how the fuck Buck is featured, has me pondered. 8. T.O.S 3/5 This beat is pretty crap. 50 rapping fast on a hook sounds good considering the wackness of the beat. gggg-uess whos back after a disappointing sophomore album. The track is saved from banks verse. He tears it apart with a fast paced rap. Yayos verse isnt too bad, because he raps faster. But the start is annoying as hell, "whhooo-whhooo-whoo want it?, whhooo-whhooo-whoo want it? which gangsta want it?". UPDATE: After listening to the whole album, the hook of this track is stuck in my head. 9. I Like the way she do it 2/5 This track has grown on me, the beat isnt too bad. its corny, the hook is pretty lame, but its kinda catchy and 50's verse sounds alright. "im suppose to blow, you suppose to know, had to go against me or its R.I.P". yayos verse is just pathetic, the breathing on the track isnt the bad but, its the gay ass "im getting money baby, my truck a lamborghini, im in allabibi, where the girls are freaky, haters want to be me, hoes glad to see me", just is a horrid to listen to. banks and bucks verses are decent. The Video for this track isnt too bad. 10. Kitty Kat 3.5/5 The beat is banger from polow da don, cementing his producing skills in the game. The hook sample is ok. Yayo is annoying again "these hoes looovvve me". For fuck sake, listen to yourself. 50's verse is too whiny. Banks is as usual good. "I dont pay for kitten, are you kidden? Well its the kid, AKA out your sisters crib" At the end of his verse he switches his style to something similar to his verse on T.O.S, hopefully something he'll do more of, cause its good. Overall a disappointing effort from a bangen beat. It wouldnt be too bad in a club, since all rappers sound good in a club, even Yayo. 11. Party Aint Over 1/5 Wack beat. A recycled mixtape track on a wack ass beat. How this made it on the CD i dont know. How the fuck can someone listen to yayos verse on this and even most of the tracks on the CD and say its go? 12. Let It Go 1/10 Wack beat, even wacker hook by someone called Mavado. Probably sampled. Banks verse is even wack. the only good part is yayo shouting 'let me go'. 13. 1/5 Get Down Swizz Beats thanks for nothing. Horrid beat from a super producer. I cant comment verses, doesnt matter who is on this beat. The Hook is also just wack. Yayo said in an interview this is one of his favorite tracks off the album. Yayo should be shot for that. Actually this stands out from fif "I race in my drive-way, mutha fuck a highway, niggas talk money, just not around me" LOL Banks "40 cal ?, 40 call gripper, that'd make a girl out of the green mile nigga" LOL 14. I don't Want to Talk About It 3/5 Good beat, the hook is decent and catchy. "nah i dont wanna talk about it". Verses what you expect. 15. Ready Or Not 2/5 This beat isnt wack, but its not catchy. Sounds like something off Rotten Apple. Banks cant really get a good flow on thiss beat. Skip 16. Money Make The World Go Round 3.75/5 Yayo on the hook, doesnt do to bad. The beat is good and catchy. His verse isnt too annoying and not too bad. Worth a listen. Banks verse is good, nothing special. This album is sort of what we wanted, agressive. I prefere Beg For Mercy with its bangen beats, compared to the first 7 beats which are much more grimey, but still good. After that its mostly wack crap. It hasnt got the standout tracks like "Poppin them thangs, my buddy, G'd Up, Salute U", but the first 7 tracks have good catchy beats. 50's verse sound all the same talkin about burners and different guns and dont have a hot flow like on receent singles "Ill Still Kill, I get money, Ayo technology". Yayo's verse sounds all the same talking about different cars or different guns and is very annoying 85% of the time. He deserves hate for his effort on this album, he had his chance to get some respect for rapping. He has potential, it seems he is a good rapper when he raps aggressively and quicker, but this is rarely seen on the album. I thought he would do good, considering some of his recent mixtape work such as "Im leavin, Rider 4 Real, Good To Me, We On Some Shit", but fails. The album is saved by Lloyd Banks. Banks is on a few hooks and does a good job on them all, he tears alot of verses up and is a good listen on the rest of them. Id give it 6.5/10 overall, considering its better then all the other hip hop shit coming out these days. First 7 tracks are fire, maybe some muting on some of yayos parts, then after that its skip, skip, skip skip, until the last track to see the album off. Looking forward to a video for 'Close To Me'. |

I almost agree with you on track 1-10 except of no days off which deserves at least 4.5/5 imo but then you almost only gave 1 point! Party ain't over and Let it go are good tracks and shoulda got like 4/5 each. Get down 2.5/5. Ready or not is a dope track imo 5/5. Overall I'd give it a 8.5/10 cuz of the lack of dre or em beats.

i would rate the last few tracks slightly higher and give the album an overall of between 7.5 and 8, i was really suprised but i like this album a lot, enjoyed it way more than their solo efforts, and its a shame bucks gone coz the best tracks on the album are the 1s with him on... also i kinda enjoyed a couple of yayos verses, which i never thought i would say...

WTF? Let It Go is one of the dopest tracks on the album, you dont no what the fuck you talking about. All I no in NYC radio djs like Slay, Flex and others are loving that Let It Go track, Slay was saying how hot that record is, and Party Aint Over is hot, Your review is wack, no track on that album is a 1/5, Get Down, Kitty Kat and Way She Do it are 3/5 tracks, all the rest are higher than that. You So Tough aint 5/5 either. Shit, SOS, Close To Me, Let It Go, Caus Of War, No Days Off and the last track are the dopest tracks on the album. And what does a video and hearing the track alot have to do with how hot Rider is? You dont judge a song based off a video. Album is a 4/5 overall. Real hard tracks, street feel to it, only a few soft weak songs, Kitty Kat beat was dope but the hook is wack. Close To Me would be a hot video, I think Piano Man, Let It Go and MMTWGO could have used a verse from 50. Other than that, BFM was a better album, but this is a solid album from the unit, anyone who loves the street music from G Unit, the mixtapes will like this album. I think Get Down might be the next single cause Swizz produced it, he would be in the video and shit, but Close to Me is the joint that should be the next single, it has all of them on it, dope ass beat, Banks hook is hot, and Fif verse is dope, "New music, you cant confuse it, with the other crews or clicks, ITS THE UNIT" shit is hot. Def should be the next single.

Let It Go was a classic......i dont see how the fuck it can get 1/5.....same opinion with Party Aint Over......both should get at least 4/5.....the beat for TOS is hot from the snippet i heard......Ready Or Not 5/5......
and No Days Off should have gotten a 5 as well......
