Recently, Solange Knowles has been trying to take herself from being just "Beyonce's little sister" to a rising R&B superstar. In a recent interview with a British magazine, however, the "I Decided" singer revealed she was diagnosed with ADD, says Mediatakeout.

"I was diagnosed with ADD twice," Solange reportedly told the mag. "I didn't believe the first doctor who told me and I had a whole theory that ADD was just something they invented to make you pay for medicine."

Solange says that although she was diagnosed by two different doctors, she was still in denial about her condition.

"But then the second doctor told me I had it. I was in denial. I don't understand exactly what it is," she continued. "The symptoms seem to apply to everyone around me in the industry. Loss of memory, starting something and not finishing it."

It seems that Solange's learning disability is not effecting her career as her sophomore LP, "Sol- Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams," is expected in stores later this month.

i think i got it too lol im serious, you cant focus on 1 thing for too long unless its extremely important to you...like sentimental reasons for doing certain things is the only way i finished things sometimes

you cant grasp things like others do, you try to focus and the info you trying to remember goes in 1 ear and out the other among other little things
