V.I.C.Young Mogul Entertainment recording artist V.I.C., born Victor Ganz, is looking to keep the snap music phenomenon going with his major label solo debut "Beast". The rapper, whose Soulja Boy-produced first single, "Get Silly", reached #29 on the charts, recently spoke with Yo! Raps about his debut album and why he's not on ColliPark Records.



"ColliPark [Michael Crooms]...wasn't interested in me," admits the 21-year-old who was born and raised in Queens, New York before moving to ATL at age 11. "I was [discovered] by his brother, Derrick Crooms. I am the first artist on Young Mogul Entertainment and that's [Derrick's] label. So, his brother was actually the one that gave me a chance."



V.I.C. says that it took some time, but eventually people's eyes were opened to his talent.



"I'm the same dude that has been there all along," the braided rapper says. "It's just that they had other things going on. I don't think they were looking at me as a full package. It was over time that they saw me as a real artist. So, I guess they started to see me as a total package."
