08/28/07 - 50 Cent is stronger than Kanye, wins our poll

Recently displaying results of an online poll, Sohh.com has annouced that fans back Kanye West over 50 Cent on the September, 11 release of their respective albums. But we also conducted our own poll on HipHopGalaxy.com and guess what ? Kanye West comes out very strong but 50 Cent still wins !

That’s right, on our very recent poll conducted during several weeks and with over 3 500 fans giving their feedback on "What album are you going to cop on Sept, 11th ?" : 49% support 50 Cent versus 43% for Kanye West while 8% of our readership is truly Hip-Hop because they will cop both albums.

According to Sohh’s survey, when asked which album they’re likely to buy, 53% of their readers said Kanye’s album is on their shopping lists while only 20% say they’ll be in line for the new 50 Cent record.

The number of participants is the same for both polls (3000 for Sohh and 3500 for HipHopGalaxy) so we want to bring some balance : 50 Cent might still have a stronger selling power.

Stay tuned for the first week sales report and if you want to know who has the best album, go cop both Graduation and Curtis on Sept 11 and wait for this Billion Dollar Remix to happen !

I really can't see how those two are comparable..

I think the only one who could go against 50 and win (not likely though) is Dr.Dre with Detox and Em..
