News 07/04/08 - LL Cool J Going Head-To-Head With Game "August 26th"

Looks like Def Jam wants to keep LL Cool J around a little longer. The hip-hop veteran’s final album for the label, Exit 13, has been pushed back yet again. Originally slated for a July release and then moved to August 5th, the thirteenth studio album from LL will now be released on August 26th. Exit 13 features collaborations with 50 Cent, Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora, and Wyclef Jean.

Find out who LL faces competition from on the 26th.

The Grammy-winner will go up against The Game’s L.A.X. and Solange’s SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams on August 26th.

LL Cool J will premiere the video for his first single “Baby” with The-Dream tonight at 8 p.m. on “FNMTV.”

Dam, ya'll care about sales way too much man, how about worrying about how hot the albums are? Kids like BDUBS, he would rather Games album be complete dogshit, we no he is a groupie so he would never say that even if he felt that way cause he is bitch made, he aint real, but he would rather it be complete dogshit, waste of his money, one listen, never listen to it again, but would be happy if it sells 500k, 600k, or more, rather than it sell 250k and be dam near classic, thats the problem with kids these days. Games album is gonna sell more, LAX should be a very good album, not classic, not Doc, but very good, should have hot beats, good features, maybe too many features, but overall I think Game will drop an album his fans will really enjoy, thats just my take, I dont like Game, but I aint a bitch made homo like these kids, I can admit when something he makes is hot, unlike them who arent real enuff to be honest, they just hate. But I also think LLs album will be one of his best, he been spittin hot shit lately, over the Rider beat, the new mixtape, SOS, he coming with it, but he wont sell near Game, I'd say LL can do 100k to 150k, Game will do 250k to 400k, in that range. But both album should be good, thats all that matters, not what they sell, or who they sell more than, all that stupid shit.

Ll cool j will sell 90k-150k first week

I've definetly been feelin LL cool j recently wit da sos freestyle, rockin wit l and the ryder freestyle this sounds like its gunna be his best album in a loooooooooooooong time.

Game album is gunna be average its just gonna sound like a dj khaled album wit evvvvvvery body on it.........but I hope it be good
