How old are you hip-hop heads and...?

just curious since a lot of you dudes are pretty old. I myself am 16, but turning 17 in a week. It's kind of funny because ever since i've been into U/G music this past year or so, I noticed that almost no one else was at my age. I started about when I turned 16. How long have you guys been listening to ug/old school?

im 19...

i started listening to it about a year and a few months (when i was 17). it feels kinda weird, when talking to an older hip hop head, who had lived (and listened) to the music in the 80's and 90's

im 17, turnin 18 in march. was listenin to hip hop since i was about 5 (1994) i had my older brother who was listenin to it so i basically grew up with it listenin to what he was listenin to... usually always listened to nwa, dre, tupac, public enemy, redman, dmx, nas, jayz. and wu-tang. it was only about 2-3 years ago i really started gettin into the underground. but still a big fan of all those minus dre/nwa, dmx, jayz and i dont mind tupac, but i dont listen to him anymore really.

pretty much 19, Ive been listening to Hip Hop all my life, old school was all my brothers played, even though it wasnt really old school then, ive been listening to the deep deep underground stuff for a while now though.

i've been listening to rap/hip-hop ever since i was really young, but I was always into the mainstream stuff on account of I didn't know and couldn't get anything underground.

im 16 (when i was 14 J-A-F thought i was 18 tho !!) and rap is basically all i know, i grew up on Black Sunday and House Of Pain since i was like 6 years old and the Slim Shady LP was the first album i ever bought, that was when i was 9

ive been underground for around 1 year and a half now and would like to send mad propz to Shyne, J-A-F, Blaze, Gin & Rakim Allah for helping me along my path to righteousness

Imma be 19 in like a month n 1/2...Been listening rap music for like 6 years I would say...I think I did started with Eminem aswell. Because you know back then, he was the most known rapper internationally, so it was kinda accesible to get to know dude.

But I do know MANY people aoround really started gettin into Hip Hop when 50 Cent first dropped.
