i didnt enjoy his album. i like the advance copy better. also, his touch the sky mixtape was dope. but as for his album that shit was boring. nothing special to say about it.

Lupe is actually pretty dope .. hes pretty creative with the beat selection and kinda had a cross genre album cause he had some beats that sounded a bit rock-esque (Pressure, The Instrumental) and some soulful joints too (Hurt Me Soul, Real) .. But the reason why people call him the 'next Nas' is because of his story telling abilities .. hes not the most lyrical dude but he can paint a picture in your head the way Nas did back when It Was Written was dropped .. And he also modeled his whole album after IWR ..
