any one know why on The Mouse And The Mask and Madvillainy and in general he cuts tracks so short? is he afraid of people becoming bored of one particular song?

Nah, its cuz he doesnt use hooks...When the track actually haves a chorus, you'll see its a bit longer. If not he does 2 minute verses.

like Deep said, Doom doesnt use hooks so his tracks tend to be shorter, I like it that way though, you cant really get tired of the track when it only last 2 minutes and you cant fit a lot of different sounds into an album when all the tracks are so short.

Im listening to Doom now, I wish somone would Remix the whole MM....Food album, that MM...Leftovers EP was dope but they pretty much remixed the same songs over and over again, I wanted somone to remix that 'Beef Rapp' track, I love that song, Doom kills it

Enough about me, it's about the beats
Not about the streets and who food he about ta eat
A rhymin cannibal who's dressed to kill, it's cynical
Whether is it animal, vegetable, or mineral

yeah I was listening to this Doom radio thing on some guys blog and it had a Doom interview where he was talking about how him and Blaze worked together on some shit they have sitting in the vault, he played a track and it sounded dope as fuck, I had no idea they ever worked together before that.
