sound device needed for xp

does anyone have a sound program for windows xp?

my sounds not working and anyone that cooperates with windows xp will do

i dont care if this is in the wrong section, im not lookin through the whole site for the right one

i guess you need to install the sound driver on your computer. most likely you'll it find in your computer's company's site for free.. don't think it's related to windows xp

you should right click on 'my computer', go to the hardware tab then find device manager.

go thru the list until you find something that's related to your audio (most likely the name of your audio hardware or whatnot)

then right click and go on update driver. if that doesn't work, search online.

if worst comes to worst, go to the same menu again but instead of clicking on update driver, click on rollback driver to take it back to the way it was when it worked.

that should help.... i hope.
