I disagree a bit...The street themes were what was real to his life...and it wasn't that conistent. Here's a quote from the title track:

"My moms told me to get a job, fuck that
Aiyo, picture me gettin a job
Takin orders from Bob, sellin corn on the cob"

That's pretty wack. I'd give the CD a 4.5

Not every track was heat, or even every single verse.but overall it was dope as fuck and easily my favorite album of all time. You can disagree, but this album was before your time. This album shaped the modren underground hip hop scene as I said in my review.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but were you bumping this the very same year it came out? I was, if you weren't and you just started bumping it a few years ago, then this album is before your time. and I'm not saying Big L is the GOAT, but he is my favorite emcee, maybe not the best, but def my favorite.

True, but when it was out, there was nothing else out like it. Now-a-days there's tons of shit copyin' L's style and people might hear this and say shit like oh he comes weak on alot of shit and name some other fool and say that they're better, when in reality, they stole L's style. Just makin' a point that you can't really form a true honest opinion unless you've heard it from the start, back when no one else was doin' shit like it. Back when it was original. i like the album a lot...production was inconsistant...too one sided on subject matter but it was dope....the only thing i really disagree is you callin big l the punchline king....Vakill has better punches easily..
